Previously, the maximum thickness of this steel standard was 150mm. In view of the actual use of oil storage ships in deep-sea environments and the special needs of customers, Wugang's scientific research and sales personnel communicated in depth with customers to carry out "high-end customization" of steel for key parts. During the research and development process, Wugang integrated superior technical resources, established a special technical research team, studied and determined the best process routes and technical parameters, and overcame world-wide technical problems such as low-temperature toughness and strain aging, etc., to meet the differentiated needs of customers. need. In order to obtain the market "access key" of this steel as early as possible, Wugang's scientific and technological personnel also conducted technical docking with well-known classification societies for many times, actively provided test plates and corresponding information, ensuring that the steel successfully passed the ABS Classification Society, China Post-weld performance certification by the 725th Shipbuilding Research Institute, and the welding evaluation time is shortened from the conventional 90 days to 30 days.

After careful production and intensive construction, on September 25, China National Offshore Oil Corporation announced that the Lufeng 12-3 oil field located in the Pearl River Mouth Basin of my country was officially put into production. After the oil field is put into production, it will be able to provide stable energy supply to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and help high-quality development of the local economy.
