With excellent quality and brand advantages, on May 15, the wide and thick plates of Wugang Company of Hesteel Group were once again used in the shielding system project of the Neutron Technology Development Line Station of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, a "national heavy weapon". Wugang also undertook the processing and assembly tasks of the shielding system project of the Neutron Technology Development Line Station of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, providing it with a package of technical services.

The steel shielding system supplied by Wugang this time is an important part of the Neutron Technology Development Line Station of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Faced with challenges such as high engineering design requirements, tight construction period, complicated procedures, and high processing precision requirements, the Wugang technical marketing research team deeply connected with customers to provide them with strong technical support: In order to eliminate the risk of radiation leakage caused by splicing straight seams, the steel shielding block adopts a layered staggered design. Not only do the small unit block shields need to be assembled together after pre-processing and then processed as a whole, but all unit block shields must also be pre-assembled as a whole after all processing is completed to meet the precision requirements of the overall steel shield. Wugang technicians converted all drawings of the project one by one according to the splicing requirements, strictly controlled the quality of processes such as steel plate cutting, pre-processing, and mechanical processing of steel shields of some components, and ensured that the task was completed with high standards and strict requirements.
The Neutron Technology Development Line Station is the beam splitting line of the 8# neutron channel in the South Hall of the Spectrometer of the China Spallation Neutron Source Target Station. After completion, it will undertake the beam test tasks of a large number of engineering devices of the second-phase spectrometer, which is a prerequisite for the smooth construction of other second-phase spectrometers. Previously, Wugang had cooperated with the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and had successively undertaken and completed with high quality the processing and assembly tasks of the inner and outer steel shielding of the hash neutron source, the spectrometer steel shielding, the small-angle spectrometer steel shielding, the magnet bracket, etc.
