On April 19th, a batch of high-end wind power steel from Wugang Company of Hegang Group was delivered to customers as scheduled, which will be exclusively used for the Datang Nanao Lemen I offshore wind power expansion project.

In February, after learning about the expansion project of Datang Nan'ao Lemen I offshore wind power, Wugang Company promptly established an offshore wind power steel research team, consisting of elite personnel from sales, technology, production, quality and other units. The team aims to provide comprehensive support for the marketing system in response to the challenges of large steel plate quantities and production difficulties required for the project. The research and development team communicated with the design institute, construction unit, and owner to address production difficulties. They held multiple rounds of discussions with the design institute and construction unit and developed specialized production technology solutions to accelerate delivery progress, meet customer construction needs, save project construction costs, and win customer recognition. During the production process, Wugang carefully organized and fully promoted contract production, ensuring high-quality and on-time delivery of orders to customers, providing strong support for project construction.
It is reported that this project is a key wind power project in Shantou City, Guangdong Province. After completion, it will have important significance in alleviating the contradiction of insufficient coal resources in Guangdong Province, relieving environmental protection pressure, and promoting green economic development. At the same time, after the completion of the project, the number of wind turbines in the tourism area of the wind farm can be increased, which will play a positive role in strengthening and activating the first wind power science popularization park in Shantou City, strengthening the construction of wind power science popularization education base, and disseminating wind power discipline knowledge.
