The self elevating wind power installation platform "Huaxi 1600", independently developed and designed by China with complete independent intellectual property rights, has been successfully delivered in Qingdao, Shandong. During the construction process of the platform, more than 2000 tons of thick toothed bar steel supplied by Wugang Company of Hebei Iron and Steel Group were used for the manufacturing of its key parts, and the product performance indicators reached the world's leading level, successfully replacing imports.

Since last year, the group has vigorously promoted the optimization of the "two structures", continuously researching and developing materials urgently needed in the high-end field, and vigorously expanding market space. In the manufacturing process of the "Huaxi 1600" platform, Wugang played the role of the offshore steel market development and marketing team, comprehensively grasped customer needs through deep docking, formulated systematic countermeasures, and provided thoughtful and meticulous technical consulting services and project steel design solutions. In the process of R&D and supply guarantee, we actively carried out technical research and development around key issues such as high production quality requirements and technical difficulties. We focused on increasing technical optimization efforts for nearly 10 key points and successfully solved technical problems such as steel plate shape and performance guarantee.

The "Huaxi 1600" platform is currently the deepest, most comprehensive, fully functional, and most efficient truss type pile leg wind power installation platform in China. It adopts a fully welded steel structure and is equipped with four truss pile legs and a gear rack lifting system. The pile legs are 125.85 meters high, and the maximum operating water depth can reach 70 meters.
